
Roy Tenorio
San Felipe Pueblo
Roy Tenorio is a lifelong resident of San Felipe Pueblo. He first learned silversmithing in 2009, as a student at the Poeh Cultural Center at Pojoaque Pueblo. Roy creates traditional and contemporary designs of his Pueblo heritage, using many dfferent colorful natural stones. Roy likes to start with uncut stones for his rings, pins, and bolo ties. He cuts, fabricates, and finishes all his pieces by hand, often maintaining the organic shapes of the stone to determine to shape of his final pieces.
