Marvin Slim
Navajo (Diné)
Marvin Slim is a Navajo silversmith originally from Torreon, NM. His mother taught him how to silversmith. Lapidary was later introduced by his uncles. He grew up in Albuquerque, where he lives today, with his wife and kids. He collaborates on many pieces with his wife, Luana Slim from San Felipe Pueblo. Marvin makes an assortment of contemporary jewelry, like bolo ties, necklaces, bracelets, but my signature, adjustable rings are what he’s known for.
